British Computer Fairs today confirms that its long running Central London Computer Fair is relocating back to The American Church on Tottenham Court Road. Situated in a really prominent position, the new venue is only a stones throw from Oxford Street and is virtually next door to the many computer and electronics shops to be found on Londons famous Tottenham Court Road. Paul Driver, Managing Director of BCF said, The recession is proving to be a very difficult period for everybody and it comes as no surprise that computer fairs are being hit very hard at this time. We realised that we needed to act decisively for the long term future of our London events and have been taking active measures to ensure that we become even more competitive and to improve the trading opportunities for our loyal core of hardworking traders. To make Tottenham Court Road Fair more accessible for our visiting customers we have decided to reduce the admission to just £1 and hope to maintain this low price for the foreseeable future. Long time visitors may recall that BCF first started to operate from the American Church way back in 2001. However, the short run of this hugely successful fair came to an untimely end following the tragic events of 9/11. Paul Driver said Moving back to the Church was an easy decision to make because it was always such a popular venue. He went on to say Being right there on the main shopping street, The American Church is in a great location and will prove to be a much better venue and a big hit with customers and traders alike. The first fair will be on Saturday 18th April and thereafter it will be held at the new venue every Saturday. The American Church is located on Tottenham
Court Road and can be found directly opposite Habitat and adjacent to
Goodge Street Tube Station. Take a look in Google Street View The Digital Technology Marketplace Whether you're shopping for a laptop
or new PC, a SatNav or PDA, an MP3 Player or even Your guarantee of big savings arrives from the keen competition between vendors. They can usually beat internet prices, quite simply because at a fair their overheads are lower. A typical vendor will be a regular at the fairs and will have their own shop or mail order business, whilst some work for themselves as system builders or software experts. All are happy to provide technical advice, demonstrate equipment on request and provide aftersales support should it be needed. If you are in the market for anything technology related, just check out the price of what want on the high street and then come to a show near you to see what we mean. We're sure that you won't be disappointed and like
many others "in the know" - you'll probably visit time and time
again.
About BCF Arguably the countries most effective computer fair organiser BCF continues to promote its ethos of building thriving marketplaces where prices are low and where consumer trust is high. |
